Nora Norway was founded in 2007, by Kathrine Jensen and Lars Bjerkeengen, in the basement of their home. Today, Nora Norway has grown to become an established fashion jewellery brand with a footprint extending to approx. 200 fashion and jewellery retailers in Norway, and with a presence onboard seven cruise ships and ferries sailing to and from Norway.

The company has its own production facility in Asia and controls all aspects of production.

Nora Norway also exports to Tallink/Silja ships in Sweden and Finland. The latest success is its cooperation with Travel Retail Norway/Gebr. Heinemann for airport sales at four airports in Norway. The brand can also be found at Helsinki Airport.

In May 2024 the company opens a showroom in Bahrain, in cooperation with ScandiLounge as the brand distributor for the region. Korea, the Philippines and the cruise sector is next on the list, as well as the USA market.
